PortaLive TeamSpeak Server

First off, the same rules apply on the PortaLive TeamSpeak server as apply on IRC. See the IRC Rules in the column to the left for those rules. Realize that in voice-chat, people aren't as tolerant of spammy and annoying behavior as they are in IRC, and our enforcement of the rules will reflect that.

Secondly, while we invite you to use our TeamSpeak server to your heart's content, realize that voice chat isn't cheap. Each connection to the server is going to use server resources (bandwidth, memory, and processing time) whether you're listening to the conversation or not. Please disconnect when you're not using the service.

Thirdly, we welcome anyone to use the server. But realize again that voice chat is much more expensive than IRC or other text-based chat to host. Feel free to use TeamSpeak. But please think about whether our IRC services would be just as fun and beneficial, and if they would, head that direction.

Lastly, we password protect our server. This is for several reasons, all of them performance-related (mostly just because it helps ensure that our server is being used by our community). The address for our server is 64.191.107.2. The password is currently 'portalive' (without the quotes, of course).
